I just did a successful summit of Peak Damavand and it was a great experience; close contact previous to the trek to gain confidence as solo trip, total flexibility (we even adapted the days at the last moment to look for better weather conditions), expert guide Mohammad for a "winter" ascension, revitalize hot springs even if we came down pretty late and everything with the most friendly and close touch. Would recommend their guidance without doubt. read less

Les 3 jours permettent aux non habitués (mon cas a l’époque) de bien s’acclimater pour préparer le sommet. Le camp a 4000m permet également de bien se ressourcer avant la dernière ligne droite

The planning was flexible and accommodating to... read moreLast month I climbed Mount Damavand (5610m) with Cheetah-Adventures from the southern route. The planning was flexible and accommodating to my schedule, and they let me keep some extra equipment I didn't want to carry in their office in Tehran. The climb was amazing, they offered me to rent a pair of crampons and an ice axe which helped me a lot for the climb and also made it a lot easier for me to pack my stuff. I had a tiny little headache when we reached the summit but that may be because it was my first time reaching a 5k meter height. They're a good company, I recommend them based on my experience with other ones. Thanks a lot to my expert friendly guide Mehrdad. read less

Mit unser ambitionierten Planung in nur wenigen Tagen die meisten der bedeutenden Sehenswürdigkeiten auf Qeshm (die Mangroven, die Geopärke und die Korallen der Nachbarinsel Hengam) zu erkunden schafften wir es mit Alis Organisationstalent und seinen Kontakten zu lokalen Partnern sehr gut auch spontan – jeweils dem Wetter und den Umständen angepasst – die Tage optimal zu nutzen. Am Ende der Reise bleibt der gute Gefühl, neben den zielgerichteten Besuchen der beeindruckenden Natur-Sehenswürdigkeiten, auch die große Gastfreundschaft, die besondere Kultur im Süden Irans und die regionalen kulinarischen Spezialitäten (auf Qeshm vor allem Fischgerichte) sehr unkompliziert und schnell kennengelernt zu haben. A Summit to Remember I had the chance to climb the beautiful mount Damavand( the highest peak in the Middle East) and it wouldn't... read moreI had the chance to climb the beautiful mount Damavand( the highest peak in the Middle East) and it wouldn't have been possible without Ali's (our tour guide) constant encouragement and useful tips. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience and one of the most challenging yet fascinating things I've ever done in my life.
Our guide was a professional alpinist who knew the way pretty well. His great sense of humor was also a blessing throughout the tiring moments to the summit. I had an amazing time and recommend Cheetah Adventures Group to anyone who is keen to discover Iran more thoroughly. read less

In these days modern companies HR is using " Its all about people" . "The people makes the difference" and for the first time I have to tell, in Iran and with Cheetah gays it makes the sense. We haven't had not even a minor problem even in climbing 5700m where its possible everything to happen. In passing thousands of kilometers from Tehran to Shiraz and back to Yazd, Persepolis, Esfahan, Kasdah. This peaceful and friendly people are hidden from western society. The abundance of water in a desert, the channels that ancient Persians have made to the today generations are astonishing. The buildings and artistic expressions on the walls, architectural achievements in using air and water in the desert gives us the proofs the old Persians were ingenious in engineering. The Dear Ali, Mehrdad, Ghazal, Hamid, Sorush thank you for showing us that the world is not just USA nor Europe with its decadency and for remembering us how Yugoslavia was also special country. Don't give up of your tradition and peculiarities. Do not leave your beautiful country. Stay just as you are. read less

Ali, Hosein, Mehrdad and other Cheetah-adventures guys were so professional and nice and the hospitality of the people amazed us. We visited Shiraz, Tehran,Isfahan, Kashan, Kerman and Yazd. also we had a short visit of Iran Deserts. travelling to Iran is one of our best experiences and Cheetah-adventures service is very suggested. read less

I was very lucky... read moreI climbed Damavand mountain and visited Tehran with guys from Cheetah Adventures. This is how it went:

I was very lucky to have guys from Cheetah Adventures - Iranian mountain/travel agency - to guide me on my Damavand trip. They were very friendly/professional/efficient/reliable/knowledgeable and most of all fun to interact with. Ali with another guide - Mehrdad - were my Damavand mountain guides. I could not have asked for better guides. Ali is a world class mountain climber with perfect sense for the detail and strategy and Mehrdad is also the guy you want to have on your team - very hardworking and dedicated to your mission. My ascent was great and I truly enjoyed it. But it was also demanding as Damavand is a big mountain. After successful summit, we descended down to Rineh village and spend the whole day visiting beautiful sights in the region: great waterfall, nice fresco in the canyon, amazing man-made caves, fantastic hot spa swimming pool and delicious authentic dinner with traditional Iranian meals and drinks. Then later on, we drove back to Tehran and I spent 2 days exploring Tehran with Hossain and again, I was very happy with how it went. Hossain showed me interesting places in Tehran that I could have probably never visited given just 2 days in the city. He knows a lot about Tehran, history and Iran in general and is fun to discuss various topics with.

Bottom line: Iran is a beautiful country, Iranian people were extremely friendly and nice to me. Ali and his team proved to be the best choice for my adventure and I will not hesitate to cooperate with them again when I go to climb Alam-Kuh - the second highest mountain in Iran.

The verdict: everybody, please do not hesitate and contact Cheetah Adventures, they are the best for your Iranian travel adventure. read less
