Damavand. From start with web page, e-mails to clarify before booking, booking, payment and, of course most important the tour itself, all was professional and highly hospitable. No problems or distressing events. The company's strengths are the combination between professionality, knowledge, being personal and flexibility according to wishes of guests. In my case, the possibility to instant add an extra day due to two days of bad weather made it possible to reach the summit. The company does not "cut edges" to save on food, transport, accommodation etc.
Especially, many thanks to my guide Ali for very pleasant company, encouragement and professional guiding! In addition to highly memorable days in the mountains, I really appreciated the hospitality, genuineness, culture and food of Iran. I hope that the future makes it possible to come for a new visit – if so, Cheetah is a starting point! read less

Herzlichen Dank an unsre drivingguide Dame Nas!

After researching our options, having a totally strong phone conversation with Ali, we booked with Cheetah. Ali was able to give advice on everything. Before we arrived, I had read all the media reports about Iran, but when I arrived, we were very impressed how normal Tehran was. We could have been in any major city in the world. In fact, we thought Tehran felt safer than most cities. We decided to join the two-day Damavand expedition. Ali, our guide, had years of experience and we never had the feeling that we would not be successful in reaching the summit. After Damavand we spent several days in Tehran, Ban, Shiraz, Yazd, Isfahan.
If you want to take a look behind the scenes, Cheetah is the right company. I can only warmly recommend ALI and his team and Iran in general. read less

In these days modern companies HR is using " Its all about people" . "The people makes the difference" and for the first time I have to tell, in Iran and with Cheetah gays it makes the sense. We haven't had not even a minor problem even in climbing 5700m where its possible everything to happen. In passing thousands of kilometers from Tehran to Shiraz and back to Yazd, Persepolis, Esfahan, Kasdah. This peaceful and friendly people are hidden from western society. The abundance of water in a desert, the channels that ancient Persians have made to the today generations are astonishing. The buildings and artistic expressions on the walls, architectural achievements in using air and water in the desert gives us the proofs the old Persians were ingenious in engineering. The Dear Ali, Mehrdad, Ghazal, Hamid, Sorush thank you for showing us that the world is not just USA nor Europe with its decadency and for remembering us how Yugoslavia was also special country. Don't give up of your tradition and peculiarities. Do not leave your beautiful country. Stay just as you are. read less

Chances were that the weather wouldn't be optimal to do the trekking, but we decided to go for it. Ali from Cheetah Adventures informed us very well before the trip about what we could expect.
We had an amazing time. We couldn't climb Damavand until the summit because of heavy snow and winds, but nonetheless it was a crazy experience. Guide Ali just went with me and my wife and it was very cosy. He is a very experienced climber/mountaineer, so we trusted him all the way.

A country which surprises you at every turn, kind and open people, amazing culture, and of course, last but not least, experimented and professional guides. Thanks to a good acclimatisation, a walking pace adjusted to our group and well-organized camps, we all managed to climb to the top of Damavand. For most of us it was the highest altitude we’ve ever reached. So, thank you guys for showing us how beautiful your mountains and cities are. I really hope I’ll return someday to see more of your surprising country and climb some more mountains! read less
