Introduction to Iran Ski Tour
Skiing is the most popular winter sport worldwide. Iran has recently become a popular skiing destination due to the existence of several equipped ski resorts, quality of snow and the low price of skiing compared to other countries. The ski resorts in Iran are suitable for skiing between 5 to 6 months a year due to the mountainous climate. Skiing season begins in December and continues to late-March or late-April depending on the annual precipitation. This exhilarating sport can be done in several ski resorts all over the country however; the most popular ones are located near Tehran.
Dizin is the largest ski resort in Iran. It is located northeast of Tehran and near two other famous ski resorts. The altitude of this vast resort varies between 3000 to 2400 meters. Dizin ski resort is ideal for both Alpine and Snowboard skiers and features different types of lift.
Shemshak and Darbandsar are two other ski resorts located near Dizin. Darbandsar ski resort has recently been expanded and refined. The snow making machine used in this resort makes skiing possible even in less snowy months of the cold season.
Located north of Tehran, Tochal ski resort is another famous resort is Iran. It is the highest ski resort in the Middle East. This resort also includes a hotel located at 3500 meters of altitude where skiers can rest after an adventurous day. Tochal ski resort is smaller compared to Dizin and Darbandsar ski resorts however; it’s popular due to its unique location at 3500 meters of altitude and closeness to the city. Iran also has several other ski resorts available for ski enthusiasts such as Abali resort, the first ski resort in Iran, and Pooladkaf ski resort in Shiraz.
This skiing package is designed for ski enthusiasts planning to allot nearly a week to skiing in Iran. This package allows skiers with any level of skill to experience skiing in top ski resorts in Iran. The program includes 5 full days of skiing and one day of Tehran sightseeing.

Acclimatization and Preparation:
Our acclimatization program is resulted from years of experience in guiding various types of people through their hike and is set to be suitable for people living in locations that are near sea level high. But even people who haven’t experienced more than 3000m of height won’t have any issues during their journey.
Our Guides:
Our guides are qualified mountain climbers with years of experience in leading tours and a history of conquering 7000/8000 meter high peaks in Himalia mountain range in their resume.
In addition to their experience and thorough knowledge of mountain routes, our guides have taken multiple courses in rescuing and first aid to assure our fellow mountain climbers’ safety throughout the trek.
