Iran Ski Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Tehran, Transfer to the hotel
Today you’ll be picked up at the airport upon your arrival and transferred to the hotel. You’ll then meet your guide and have a welcome dinner with him/her.
Note: It’s possible to arrange a short Tehran sightseeing tour according to your arrival time.

Day 2 – Skiing in Tochal ski resort
Today your skiing tour begins. We’ll have breakfast and leave the hotel at 8. We’ll ride to the foothills of Mount Tochal (average= 30 min) and get to the ski resort with a cable car (1h, 3700 m). The rest of the day is allotted to skiing in Tochal ski resort, the highest ski resort in the Middle East. We’ll spend the night at the hotel located in the ski resort .Despite the freezing atmosphere of the outside, inside the hotel is warm and cozy and you can take a hot shower to relax.

Day 3 – Skiing in Tochal ski resort
Today we’ll have breakfast at the hotel. We’ll spend another amazing day skiing at Tochal ski resort and descend by cable car at 4. We’ll then head back to our hotel in Tehran and rest.

Day 4 – Skiing in Dizin ski resort
Today you’ll experience skiing in the largest ski resort in Iran and the Middle East. This morning we leave the hotel at 6 for Dizin ski resort and have breakfast at a restaurant on the way. This ski resort is accessible by both Dizin and Chalus roads. We’ll take Dizin road to the resort (1.5 h). Arriving at Dizin ski resort, we’ll ski until 4 o’clock and then head to Dizin hotel and rest.

Day 5 – Skiing in Dizin ski resort
This day is totally dedicated to skiing in Dizin ski resort. We’ll have breakfast at Dizin hotel and then head to the resort to spend another memorable day in this vast ski resort. We’ll again ski until 4 and get back to the hotel afterwards to rest and recover for the next day.

Day 6 – Skiing in Darbandsar ski resort
This morning we’ll leave the hotel for Darbandsar ski resort after breakfast (30 min). We’ll ski in Darbandsar resort until 4. We head back to Tehran in the afternoon and get to the hotel and rest upon arrival.

Day 7 – Sightseeing in Tehran
In the Morning:
Today we will explore the grand capital of Iran. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel at 9 and take you to our first stop, The Golestan Palace. Originally built by Qajar kings, this magnificent palace also served as Pahlavi rulers’ winter home. After having lunch at one of Tehran’s best restaurants, called Moslem, we go for a short stroll around Tehran Grand Bazaar. This Bazaar is extremely vast and crowded and it isn’t a suitable place for window shopping thus only a brief visit will suffice.
In the Afternoon:
Afterwards, we stop at Shah Mosque, a holy place where merchants and shop owners pay their respect to their god through Namaz (a term to describe Muslim’s prayer).
Our next stop will be at Abgineh museum (Museum of glass arts), Carpet (Farsh) museum or National museum or Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art according to your preferences. In addition, if you’re lucky enough to have this tour on one of the first four days of the Iranian week (Saturday to Tuesday, from 14 to 16:30) you get the chance to see the finest pieces of jewelry found in Iran such as Daria-i-Noor diamond (Darya-ye Noor) in the national jewelry museum.
The next item on our list is the Milad Tower, The highest tower in Iran and the most famous landmark in Tehran.
Our last stop is at Tabiat Bridge, a beautiful modern pedestrian bridge which is very glorious at nights, where we’ll have dinner and experience the nightlife of people in Tehran. We’ll stroll on the bridge before we head back to our hotel.

Day 8 – Departure
Today you’ll say goodbye to Tehran after 7 days of great adventure. You’ll be dropped off at the airport in time for your flight.
Note: Extra nights of accommodation can be requested with extra fee.

Acclimatization and Preparation:
Our acclimatization program is resulted from years of experience in guiding various types of people through their hike and is set to be suitable for people living in locations that are near sea level high. But even people who haven’t experienced more than 3000m of height won’t have any issues during their journey.
Our Guides:
Our guides are qualified mountain climbers with years of experience in leading tours and a history of conquering 7000/8000 meter high peaks in Himalia mountain range in their resume.
In addition to their experience and thorough knowledge of mountain routes, our guides have taken multiple courses in rescuing and first aid to assure our fellow mountain climbers’ safety throughout the trek.
