Iranian Hospitality Tour Introduction

Hospitality is often defined as a host’s relationship with their guests and their behavior towards them. Iranians have been strictly devoted to hospitality since old times. They are friendly and sociable people, whose hospitality is appreciated by all those that have traveled to Iran. The traditions of Iranian hospitality are proven to be rooted way back into the history of Iran. Iranians have long been following a set of guidelines in their social behavior, some of which are based on morality and the others on religious beliefs. The famous Iranian hospitality can be experienced even in the most remote villages and at the house of poor families. This fact is even visible on some of the ancient rock reliefs of Persepolis. This Iranian virtue has become fairly famous and is one of the reasons many travelers choose to visit Iran besides its diverse tourist attractions.

There are certain rules that both the hosts and the guests follow during a traditional Persian gathering. However, your host understands that there are cultural differences and therefore doesn’t expect you to follow all of the Iranian hospitality rules.

Tour description

Traveling through Iran, one of the things you may often hear is “Welcome to Iran. You’ll be welcome to come to my house for lunch/dinner.” However surprising it may seem, all these invitations are merely due to Iranian hospitality. This famous part of the Persian culture can be seen in every part of Iran and even some neighboring countries.

During your Iranian hospitality tour, you will have the best possible experience of the world-famous Iranian hospitality. Even though there are some rules for behavior when invited to someone’s house, as a foreigner no one expects you to follow them all and won’t be offended by your probable mistakes. In addition, Iranians believe that guests should be highly respected.

During this Iran tour, you’ll meet a traditional Iranian family and have lunch/dinner with them. Luckily, the mother of the family is also a very skilled cook thus giving you the chance to taste some of the most delicious Iranian dishes. You’ll also learn about the lifestyle of an Iranian family during your Iran hospitality tour.

In addition to having lunch/dinner, you’ll have a pleasant conversation with your hosts. You can discuss a variety of different subjects with them to learn more about Iranian culture and tell them about yours.  Verified Adventure of a Lifetime
Been dreaming about visiting Iran and climbing my first 5 thousander for quite some time. I knew it was just a matter of time and finding the right people to help us turning our dream into reality.  And then we found them: Cheetah Adventure team.First of all, thanks to Ali, the head of the team, who helped us with our visa and organised our trip. He was patient enough to answer all our questions prior the trip.Deep respect to Ashkan and Mehrdad our mountain guides. Without their tips and assistance our team wouldn't be able to summit Damavand (5610m) so easily. So even if you are an experienced hiker, do not attempt to climb this giant without these people. They do know the mountain, more than anyone.Thanks to Mohammad and Mehrdad who guided us in concrete jungles of Tehran and Isfahan. Showing us the most important and amazing sights, leading us through narrow passages in bazaars, introducing us the tastiest local dishes. Last but not least, I'm extremely grateful to our skillful and experienced drivers. They were life- savers, for sure.Going Back? Definitely! Iran has so much to offer! See you in Persian Gulf ...  Verified Best weekend in Iran
We wanted to thank Ali and Mehdad for their hospitality, professionalism, loyalty to their work and awesome memories. First of all Ali helped us to get a visa in a matter of two days, which is crazy fast. Without getting any money in advance because there was a problem with transactions from our side. He did it based on pure trust. Then already in a country we accidentally left our passports in Teheran, cause of the hotel’s policy, they take your passport while you stay there, and after being checked out walking around in different city, we remembered about such a tiny thing like your passport being left out in another country, Ali helped to resolve this problem too. Which we were really grateful for.  Besides all the views and all the history. It was top-notch. The  most memorable trip abroad so far, thank you guys for everything. Our trip to Iran could not have been better prepared and organized. My husband and I traveled with our 6 year old daughter for the last 3 weeks during a time of change in Iran. As part of our family has a US passport, we had great support by Ali to make sure our Visas are processed accordingly. It was not easy but it all worked out with Ali’s help.Ali and his guides Farid and Mousse took great care of us and were very knowledgeable about the history and places we visited. We did not feel as normal tourists on this trip but we were treated as friends and family throughout the entire time of our trip. The Iranian people are warm, welcoming and extremely friendly. They are proud of their heritage, their long world history and the normal people on the streets are just beautiful - inside out!Obviously, change is going to happen in Iran. We listened to the peoples stories, wishes, dreams and desires. They are all ready for the world to embrace them and take them in as equal partners and friends. I had a pleasure to do 4-day Damavand trek with Ali. From the beginning we had good communication, everything was clear and on time. The equipement was provided and things well organised, the pace well adjusted. Ali is very experienced climber and helpful with sharing his knowledge about mountains and Iran itself, which made the whole expierience very natural and personal.
